Haiyan Mu

I worked as part of the New York Structural Genomics Research Consortium
(NYSGXRC), which is part of the NIH Protein Structure Initiative. Our primary
objective is to crystallize large numbers of proteins for which structures cannot be
predicted from homology to proteins of known structure. To achieve this goal our
consortium has developed a number of high-throughput techniques, including
automated cloning strategies, highly parallel protein expression and purification
strategies, and robotic crystallization.
